Some People...

...have smiles that, when you see them, make you smile too.  Wade is one of those people.  So how could I resist sharing that smile with everyone?  On his head is one of the first Florida Scrub Jays we saw at Lyonia Preserve, and just over his shoulder is another jay and his wonderful wife, Jen.  We had been walking for a bit and hadn't seen a single jay when suddenly they just started appearing.  If you lifted a hand, one would land on it; and heads were the favored perching spot. One even landed on Wade's camera lens as if to say "hurry up, dude".  

After Lyonia, we drove the Apopka Wildlife Drive, a 20 mile drive through a wetlands area that was just filled with all kinds of birds and alligators.  Great fun!

It was a perfect last day in Florida.  I don't think we could have possibly squeezed in more into 4 1/2 days.  I hope to have time to grab a blip out Wade's deck window in the morning before we head to the airport.  Going to miss the wonderful company, the fabulous birds and the warm weather, but very much looking forward to seeing Hubs.
