In The Golden Gloaming...

It has been very hot here today. Luckily a little cooler in the Nelson area at the site of the bush fires now in their sixth day. There is better news from there in that the 100s of personnel’s efforts are getting the fires under control. Keith and I took Maisie for and evening walk in “Shep’s Park”, a lovely park at the end of our road. Here is Maisie playing with a stick on the dry grass. The evening light, gloaming, touched her coat with gold... a little golden girl!
