windy West Linton

2nd Saturday of the month and, as mentioned a couple of days ago, we undertook a 9-mile circular walk from West Linton this month...

... fairly windy conditions, but we didn't go too high, so no major problems encountered - main snap is from the start of the route (just outside the village); 1st extra of a bridge constructed in 1620!; 2nd extra showing a section of old Roman Road and 'big' Pentland sky; 3rd extra some of the farm buildings at Garvald (the half-way, lunch stop!).

Very enjoyable day - rounded off by some welcome refreshments at The Gordon Arms Hotel ...

... just a shame about that rugby result :-(
