Not The Sky At Night!

The Sky At Nine am!

I waited to put up my blip, just in case I got the chance to to a really good shot of the moon or stars tonight. Unfortunately my bit of sky was overcast! I would have loved to have done a starry blip tonight in honour of the great Sir Patrick Moore who died today ages 89.

Queen guitarist Brian May said the monocled stargazer was the "father of astronomy" in Britain. "He lived and breathed his subject, and he shared it with everyone, he absolutely lived to share his knowledge, his wealth and his time. The most generous man I've ever met I would say."

I was out this morning and took a blip of the sky so this will have to do to represent this day!
