A Pleasing Palette

The bark of a silver birch tree spotted as I drew into a parking place at Loughborough Leisure Centre for an hour of gym.

The colours are so attractive. I think the rain must have accentuated them. They were rather paler when I came back to the car.

The gym not very busy, which is unusual for a Sunday morning. Perhaps that's why they're doing a promotion on signing up a friend to get some extra gym time. 

Sunny afternoon. I should take Basil for a walk but I need to get slides in order for a talk to camera club on Tuesday evening. Or should I say, I need to reorder photos in a collection in Lightroom?

Toad in the hole tonight. I fancied some comfort food.
