at the Bridgewater Hall with new singer songwriter sensation from California showing off her crawhammer style learnt from 4 years in Nashville. Those lucky enough to visit Celtic Connections in Glasgow each winter or like me get to hear them on Radio 3 will know all about Transatlantic Sessions with either fabulous combination of veterans from both sides of the Atlantic, not least Aly Bain and John McCusker maestros on the fiddle. An altogether exuberant evening.
