Kingfisher

A couple of days ago, I saw two kingfishers flash past me in the Merkinch nature reserve. You can imagine my surprise today, when I spotted another one, on a tree branch, in the Whin Park. By the time I had got my long lens out, it had vamoosed. I decided to hang around, which turned out to be a good idea.  The kingfisher came back, alighting on a post, and this time staying there for a good while, before diviing for a fish. So I got my blip, less blurry than my previous kingfisher, but too far away to be pin sharp.
