Strange day. Our bird walk was postponed because of flooding and continuing rain. I was happy to have a day at home, but a text from Scottish Water before I got up advised that our water was off due to a burst water main. So a day of watching what I used, to make sure I didn't run out before it came back just after 4pm.

I bought a new bird feeder yesterday, & within an hour of putting it out a group of greenfinches had appeared :)

It was very still and a bit sunny for a few hours around midday, before the rain started back. I decided not to go dancing as roads had been flooded earlier & ice was forecast at night...no doubt they were absolutely fine since I stayed home.
