to Do One's Bit (7)

We were on the beach just to the South of Port Cornaa on the East coast of the Island helping to clear the rubbish.

This section of the beach is in private hands and we were here by invitation.  It had not been cleared up for some time and it certainly kept the ninety or so people who turned up, fully occupied.

That is not so say however that on such a fine day we did not have time for a chat!
