Decoration......

It's been a wonderfully lazy relaxing day. I've done very little. Ian, our minister, spoke on the Paradox of Esther; The God who speaks silently. Sometimes we will hear him so clearly yet he won't have said a word. Sometimes we can't hear him yet he is speaking so clearly. Often we want to negotiate with him when we do hear him......

After Sunday dinner I even sat and read my book. The sun turned to heavy rain then back again and made shadows on the wall in the lounge. I bought these chandelier decorations from Fortnum & Mason this Christmas on a happy day out with Bittoo, an ex-colleague and friend. I hung them from the wall lights and they have stayed...because they "fit."

This evening I have done some ironing......
