Icy Multnomah Falls

Two million people visit Multnomah Falls, about thirty miles outside Portland, each year.
Not many get to see the falls in the winter when it transforms into an icy spectacle. We ventured up that way on a Sunday drive and were surprised to find the freeway still snow covered and moving at a snail’s pace. It was worth the trip though.
