Taking the Wide View

I had stopped to take a traffic photo for Mono Monday.  I had got the idea of pinch points when traffic is congested to fit with the theme pinch.  I turned around and saw this view and I much preferred to be looking at it.  The very dark at the top of the hills is pine trees and the light coloured area is dry grass.  There is no rain in the forecast until the end of the month!
The people in Wakefield have been allowed back home this evening which is good news.
