Dawn on the Grand Canal

Magical this morning standing watching the sunrise from the Acedemia Bridge over the Grand Canal. The city was just waking up with a trickle of people starting work,  a gentle slap of water against the jetty and a gorgeous orange glow blanketing the canal. Fabulous!
