SUCH A SHAME!
As the weather here has been so challenging we took Oscar and Phoebe for a walk around Trenance Gardens in Newquay. Always a lovely place to visit with superb planting.
You can imagine my horror when a whole patch of the lovely daffodils had been decimated and all these buds lay scattered on the floor. I wasn't going to let them just lie there so here they are gracing my kitchen windowsill.
Today (Monday) the sun is shining and the birds are getting twitter pated. A pair of chaffinch were squabbling over last years nesting sight in the large Cordyline tree which is nearly as tall as the house. Oscar watched from below fascinated.
So today after another visit to the tip we are moving my Mini from the garage to a friends house so that we can start packing. We have just 10 days left living here in Crantock.
Tomorrow will be a hard day as we are having to rehome our beautiful Jazzmin. She is going to the local Cat's Protection centre in Truro and we hope that someone will be able to give her what she needs. Sadly she is not accepted in our next rental home due to her continued fur ball emissions.
So we are beginning "the final countdown", still with no word from our Landlord as to whether he wants to pay for all the curtains/blinds etc. that we have installed to make this a proper home.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead. The sun is due to shine and I'm pleased about that as on Friday it is my birthday, again!!
Sending hugs to you all xxxxx
