Danny without his brace - hooray

I took my youngest son Danny to the orthodontist yesterday to finally have his brace removed - a day of much happiness and munching of apples and anything crunchy that he hadn't been able to eat for the last few years.

It was a bit of a manic day - I had to drive an hour into the city for his appointment at 10:00 - have his brace removed and impressions for his retainer taken - drive back to Tavistock for his history exam from 11:45 - 1:20 and then get back by 2:30 to have his retainer fitted, made it just - phew !!!

It was well worth it to see the smile on his face, this is just a quick shot when we got home , not his best look but a pretty good smile. xx
