Normanton Church

Rutland Water. This church was to have been demolished when the reservoir was made but it was saved, a causeway built out to it and filled with concrete up to window level. It is now used for weddings. Mono and fiddled with in Snapseed.
The extra is Egleston church again on the perimeter of the reservoir this wonderful door head is I think Saxon and around 1000 years old.
We have had a lovely day wandering around the lake then into Stamford where we found a nice little restaurant for lunch.
Bach to the caravan now and home tomorrow.
