Enhancing Reality & Future Attractions

What would have really enhanced reality today would have been to photograph this little palm tree and attractive wrought ironwork in the south of France -- but I saw this scene in Fairhaven, looking like this in the flat, dull light, and just could not resist tinkering with it. (It may not be an improvement, but I had fun playing -- and it's been almost three weeks since I've used Dramatic Tone!)

I had to park several blocks from Village Books, but I'm not complaining, because it's great to see an independent bookstore buzzing with shoppers on a Monday afternoon.

No doubt parking will be even harder to find on December 14, when a topic dear to the hearts of Northwesterners (TerriG, I'm thinking of you!) is featured at Village Books, and completely impossible on December 19, when this star will be promoting his book there!
