Ready and waiting

Another beautiful day but unfortunately no time to get out with the camera as I was expecting visitors. Today's blip is of the stigma and pollen anthers in a lily. I was given a bunch of flowers yesterday as a thank you for some work I did -  a really nice gesture. 
As well as the lilies there were also carnations and daisies, a blue flower that I know is used in dried flower arrangements, some greenery and a really sweet smelling small yellow flower. So many I had to split them over two vases as I don't have a large one.
