Arnside Pier

Storm Erik has gone away and left us with a lovely day. No breeze and almost a feeling of Spring in the sunshine.

Here is Arnside Pier. At one time it would have been busy with small coastal trading vessels. Now it is popular with fishermen and with families eating ice cream from the tourist shops on the promenade.
This morning the colours were subtle and I tried several different settings to try to capture them.

Friends here for lunch after which we took them for their first visit to RSPB Leighton Moss. A good many Snipe were showing but I preferred the Teal for an extra.
