Soon to be bitten?

A beautiful sunny and mild day.  I managed a short gentle walk in the woods at lunchtime.  The birds were singing and yellow catkins on the birch trees appeared to be loosing their pollen.  I am reminded of how we can get these days only to then feel the bite of winter as it returns.  

I had some discussions at work and thought this had been a positive day but now I am not so sure.
