Powerless

I love Spain, but there are two things I regularly encounter when I visit the country that drive me nuts. One is the lack of a sink plug, or having a plug that simply let's the water through. The second is electricity fuse boxes that keep tripping.

We're in a lovely apartment just outside Malaga, yet its modernity does not make us immune to power issues. The circuit tripped for the first time this morning and has tripped throughout the day. There is now no power at all. And there are no clues whatsoever as to what's causing the problem.

The owner of our apartment has been super-helpful for weeks, but now we can't get hold of him.

Hey ho. That's the way things go here sometimes. It'll get fixed eventually.
