Falsificatio sacra
Taken from a 7th century folio unearthed in the cellar of Greaves Farm in Northumberland, wrapped around a 17th century silver spoon. Thought to be an inaccurate practice piece by a novice of Finchale Abbey. Analysis by the department of Atramentics, University of Durham, shows the ink to be a type known as PIY, or oak gall mixed with urine.
