Big river

The Dee is really high. There are a few houses in the village which have flooded in years gone by. Not from the Dee but from the burn which joins the Dee a bit further upstream. A volunteer task force has been busy in the last few months repairing the river path which was nearly washed away. The trouble is the few volunteers are part of an aging population. It's a a worry that local amenities will be lost if the youngsters can't be encouraged to help.
