Giddy up

We left Kathleen and Neill in the morning and headed off to Little Bourne Equestrian Centre where we met up with Charlotte. She was exercising Rome today in the sunshine. She really put her through her paces. We headed off to Ikea for lunch and to pick up some much needed drawers that Charlotte has need since she moved into her first non student flat last September. Tom and I also helped her put them together before heading off to The Bell Inn, in Ruislip. It was a building site! There were boards round it with ’refurbishment in process’ plastered all over them. There was no one around to help and the phone number I’d been given were wasn’t being answered, then became unavailable. I even sent and email. I ended up contacting the credit card company who’s only helped was to say once they’ve taken money off your card then you can raise a dispute. This is due to happen at 22:00 hours tonight when we ‘don’t check in’.


To cut a long story short we trotted off to the trusty Premier Inn at Wembley Park where we’ve stayed many times before. Charlottes first halls are just across the road. We laughed and did some reminiscing of her early years at uni on the way to Pizza Express. Now were’s my bed! Zzzzz
