Escape Pod

The survival craft used for training purposes is kept at the Pole Star Pier in Stromness.  This is the type of pod carried on ferries.
Here it is on a training exercise this afternoon in the Stromness sunshine. 
Extra 1: A shot of the same pod on the pier, from a telly programme broadcast yesterday 'James Martin's Great British Adventure - Orkney' on STV.  A lot of the show was shot in Stromness Harbour in the Stromness sunshine early last year.
