Sitting duck

Actually a pigeon, at the top of a very tall tree at the bottom of the garden.  Taken in the bright morning light.

It was certainly not expecting any aerial predators (it's even got it's eyes closed) but it ought to be careful; I've noticed a lot more birds of prey in the countryside and this one would make a nice meal.
