Not Dead...just Sleeping!

..................please bear with me today - I don't quite know why but this very simple picture really appeals to me ! It is just a tree but, on close inspection, is already showing signs of next years awakening. The buds are already there, awaiting the warm Spring sunshine, to open into bright fresh, green leaves once again.

I awoke to thick fog and a hard frost but now the sun is shining brilliantly - how long it will stay like this is another question!
