Limited im-pact

It’s much milder today. The ride in is pleasant - and local holidays means the roads are quiet.

I spend the day in conversations. Much benefit might flow from these verbal exchanges, but it leaves me feeling that nothing has been achieved.

I go to Dobbies on the way home to buy alternative frozen rodents to tempt the snake. I get a brown rat and a duo of gerbils. You can’t say I don’t try.
