portraiture

the camera group at church met tonight and we had a session on portraiture in a studio setting. Apart from converting to a jpeg this is straight out of the camera. Considering I dislike portrait photography this is not bad. I had trouble with the focussing. (too many points) In live view it sought ought out one face. My camera does not have a flash and my husband forgot the speed light.I may play around with the white balance etc later as it could be improved I feel but this was the really the best of the bunch.

I had work this afternoon and one of my clients lives narthex thames tow path and we watched a pair of goldcressts at the feed for quite a long time
