Jeep ride

We got up early today to go out on a mini safari to see the local birdlife.  Unfortunately it was cloudy and quite grey but we did see a lot of birds - the guide was very knowledgeable - but they were mostly way over there, out of my lens capabilities.  My main shot shows the narrow little lanes we were going down - thankfully only motor bikes or cows wishing to pass us!  The birds here are a red wattled lapwing, a grey hornbill, a black shouldered kite which had caught a mouse and then a pond heron. We also saw golden ibis, spoonbills, purple herons, several kingfishers and many others that were too far away to think about snapping.
This afternoon we strolled into the main shopping area and bought some fruit off one of the stalls - I was trying to post some extras to show more village life but the wifi is being intermittent and it won't upload.
We've enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.
