Walking on Thin Ice

Despite the cold weather and the ice on the bird bath, Florence decided that she would sit on top of the ice to watch out for small mammals to catch. Here she had just stood up and looked at me as I went to take her picture.

This was taken through the kitchen window and vegetation in the garden which has slightly obscured the subject.
