Peter Mullan

This morning as I walked along Sauchiehall Street, I was surprised to see a film crew shooting a scene with Peter Mullan from the new Proclaimers film, "Sunshine on Leith".

Instantly I thought here is today's Blip, and I was delighted to meet the great actor himself. Peter was so generous with his time, and we even managed to have a quick discussion about the world of Mackintosh and the influence of Brad Pitt.

I also spoke to Peter about his recent lead role in the powerful Channel 4 series "The Fear". As usual Peter gave a stellar performance as the Brighton Gangster boss suffering from dementia.

What a great start to the day.
