Styled by nature

I saw this plant on fencing around a vacant site intended for two new houses. There were loads of heads on the plant. I thought the form of it looked rather like hair.

I would have liked to have taken several photos but it was tricky to do so. The fencing sat right on the edge of a drop of about two feet which sloped further into waste ground with assorted debris in it. I could lean into the fence but not on it. I had visions of losing my balance, collapsing the fence and sliding down into the vacant lot!
