Romantic Postbox

I made a trip over to Lichfield this morning, partly to pick up some wallpaper samples but another ulterior motive was to go and see the romantic postbox, created by Royal mail for Valentine's Day. Written on the box is the inscription "This postbox has been specifically adapted for the season of love to celebrate the work of much adored Romantic poet, Anna Seward - who lived in Lichfield for much of her life."

It was a truly glorious day to visit, the sun still illuminating the box and bright blue cloudless sky beyond.
