Young Flamingo in Mono

Another gorgeous sunny day, so it was a trip to the zoo with my Mum.

We popped into the book hut and came away with 3 books between us for £1.50, bargain. After a brief stop by the meerkats we stopped off at the flamingos who were enjoying the sunshine and a good preen.. This is one of the juveniles looking quite fetching in mono.
Just near the lemurs I managed to get a quick shot (in extras) of a wild squirrel enjoying a peanut from the feeder and then the battery died.

We finished off with a cappuccino in the cafe and then went our separate ways.
