Gray Catbird

One of our very welcome winter visitors is the Gray Catbird. Last year we played host to a family of at least five, maybe more, of these beautiful birds. This year I've not seen more than one at the BarkButter feeders at a time. I love their cat-like calls and their attire always makes me smile...that black cap and 'chestnut under tail coverts' as the field guide describes those red undies!
