Lapwing
I started my lunchtime walk thinking to myself that I wouldn't see and new bird species to tick off my list, as I believed I'd seen all Yarmouth has to offer. I walked a bit further up the river than normal and spotted this handsome Lapwing all on his own amongst the duck. Then I spotted what I later discovered to be a grey plover (extra) the photo isn't great of this as it was too far away. I actually saw it really close but it flew off before I could snap it. Then when I got back to the office, I realised that a photo of what I thought were crows in the reeds, were in fact Tufted Duck (extra2), my excuse is that the sun was in my eyes and I couldn't see clearly. So 3 new birds to add to my list. Extra 3 is another Black-tailed Godwit, I just liked the ripples in the water.
