Yellow Dung Fly

Lots of sunshine was forecast for today so I took a chance and booked the day off.

Off I went to Alney Island again where I wandered for a few hours and as it's  still a bit early for lots of bugs, I kept an eye on the numerous piles of cow dung.   

I struck lucky with this individual
