A lovely day today so decided to go somewhere different for a change;  Went to Thirlmere and walked up to Harrop Tarn.  Not the best walk I've ever done, my fault for taking the hard route, kept thinking it would get easier, but it didn't.  Eventually got there and chatted to some National Trust guys putting in a new path and I was their first customer!!  They've also put in a new footbridge over a ford.  Returned to the road along a forest road, much easier!  Walked back to the car via the reservoir and bumped into the three famous springers, Max, Paddy & Harry, see Extras.  Its the first time I've seen Harry the puppy who’s adorable.
