Dancing……

………………….…Ladies


It was extra windy today and these ladies were dancing most of the day. 

It was very late afternoon before there were moments of stillness which enabled me to photograph these lovely fuchsia flowers.

Pigeon Valley Fire, Tasman/Nelson, NZ
-The fire remains active, but it has been significantly reduced.
-The 2300ha blaze is now considered contained but not yet under control. An increase in wind speed and a shift in direction could result in the fire becoming challenging very quickly.
-The emphasis is on the hot spots close to the southern and north-western perimeter of the fire. Both these areas are close to evacuated properties.
UPDATE
-Depending on the fire situation in the morning, residents of a further 14 properties can return to their homes from 8am (Saturday 16 February).
