Last day Vientiane

Vientiane grows on you but it's have preferred an earlier get away today. At one point I was looking at an 11.20 flight but somehow ended up on a 17h. That meant a day of drifting. Last couple of wats in the morning and then coffee shops for lunch until it was time to pick up the luggage and go. It was slightly b overcast this morning, but still hot.

Caught the bus at 2.43. in the departure lounge, through security by 3.05. Got though a fair bit of my book as we didn't board till 4.30 and then a 30 minute flight.

Luang Prabang is more of a tourist place, right from the arrival at the airport. Shared taxi ride to my hotel which looks ok but lacks some if the amenities of Chanthapranya.

It was dark by the time I got going so the priority is food. Will be interesting to see what daylight brings.
