Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

VISION

I'm trying to imagine what my friend sees. She is registered blind, has little peripheral vision but can see some shapes and colour.  'For instance,' she told me in the cafe, 'I can see there is a tree beside me.'  She reached out and stroked the artificial plant.  'Well done,' I said, 'That lady with the dyed green hair is startled, but really flattered.'  We rolled around with laughter.  We laugh a lot.  We always have done.   I can't tell you what we laugh about or I'd be censored by Blip.

It was nice to be out and about with a pal.  I need my friends these days.
