Ever had the feeling that your sinking? 
I have, it happened today!
Last year when booking our Feb jaunt I was undecided and initially booked a four night stay at Palazzo Venart (name and shame).
We then decided that Barcelona should be the next road trip and so I cancelled the booking with Palazzo Venart (already named and shamed)
They sent me a confirmation of the cancellation. 
But, strangely it seems I rebooked it. I have no confirmation of this (or the 1st booking) and as they've only just confirmed this today (after their 72 hour cancellation policy) it seems they will charge me for the first night.
I will fight this one, tooth and bloody nail!
