Purple and gold

Regal colours - and crocus colours too! I love these crocuses which don't last long, so I was delighted to find them out today on my way to the Filmhouse. It was a beautiful day - like spring - and going to the cinema wasn't perhaps the most obvious thing to be doing, but I at least had a walk in the sunshine - and the Friday matinee at the Filmhouse is cheap. I was on my way to Green Book which was very enjoyable - a well-made film, not earth-shattering, but one you come out of feeling happy.

And today I saw my first bee of the year!
