Skagit Valley Flats
Took the rest of this week off and now that the snow is melting, drove to Skagit Valley to see how the hunting and eagle nesting was going. It was more active than I've seen in quite a while with eagles, owls hawks and herons most likely out struggling to find a meal in fields blanketed with snow. The large nest in Edison on Bayview Road is occupied full time now in pairs of eagles and will be really exciting to see some little heads pop up here shortly. Definitely a lot warmer and better conditions for setting up a tripod.
