Septic tanks! which need some serious tlc every few years or so.

This morning W arrived with his big truck and pumped out the septics...what a cool guy! Originally from Devon and with a fine nose for the fragrances in the garden but, surprisingly, not for the odours of his day to day job.

Oh and a sandgroper is a type of burrowing insect found in Western  Australia and a nickname given to inhabitants (of the human variety!) of WA .
