On Beale Street

I went to see a marvellous film this evening - if Beale Street Could Talk. Moving and gentle and gorgeous to look at with a very powerful dramatic story. A young afro- caribbean couple in 1970's New York fall in love. She gets pregnant and he gets imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. Oh gosh, if you can get to see it really is worth the effort in my opinion.

In other news a fab bike ride in the sunshine along the canal after a misty sunrise. I left it a bit late but ran round the corner to get this one.

And dinner after the film of a duck leg and chips. One of my favourites.
