Village croci?

A busy coffee morning at church. We do them once a month but had a month off in January. B suggested they would do bacon butties this month and I think word got around!

A was cooking bacon when I arrived before 9.45 and Chris and I had the last two (ordered at the beginning of the morning) at 11.45! Extra bacon had to be purchased and B made triple decker sandwiches out of her home made bread rolls. They were fantastic, especially for £1.50!

On the way home we needed to call in the Village Post Office. Opposite, on the banking around the bus shelter, there is a wonderful display of crocus plants (croci?). It was looking great on a sunny day but it’s one of those things that doesn’t translate well into a full photo perhaps due to all the bus stop paraphernalia or the difficulty of not being able to stand in the middle of the busy road!
