Simplon Hospitz

Our base for 3 days.  

The big pointy job is Punta Testarossa (3112).  The smaller summit below it (Maderhorn, 2887) was today's high point, followed by powder runs on the N side.  An interesting return route through the trees, over a stream, on top of and then through the avalanche tunnel back to the top of the pass.
