My very first ribbons!

Though I can’t really complain as I only enter the Yorkshire Salon (and the Wath Salon which is not accredited).  So I’m feeling really pleased today and I felt it was worth sharing and celebrating.

After a trip to the agricultural feed merchants for yet more sunflowers hearts (I think the goldfinches are bringing all their mates with them) we spent more time in the garden and have managed to strip the `creeper’ back from the top section of the wall and do a bit more tidying around the climbing rose and other plants that climb the walls.  I did the climbing and cutting back and Ann tidied away.  We’ve now filled another green bin.  It’s very useful that our neighbours don’t have a use for theirs.

This might be the last day of February spring weather as the forecast is for a change.
